I and the rest of convenience-loving, hummus-munching consumers have just been granted one more thing to add to our Christmas lists.
Health food production company Baruvi Fresh LLC is looking to make a splash in the store with its first snacking line, hummustir: an organic, lower calorie dip and spread.
“The launch of hummustir is very exciting for the team as it’s a culmination of years of research to bring fresh hummus to all,” said Alon Kruvi, Managing Director of Baruvi, in a press release. “Hummustir is paving the path to a future where there will no longer be a need for unnatural, preserved, refrigerated hummus. It will be mainstream for people to easily make fresh, delicious hummus at home or on the go.”
With two grams of protein per serving, hummustir is offered in the following three styles:
“The best part of hummustir is the detail put into sourcing the finest ingredients to provide maximum nutritional value and taste” Kruvi continued. “It's been our dream to create something that will impact people in a positive way and offer consumers a simple to make and delicious snack to eat on the go, at home or work. With the launch of hummustir we are paving this path.”
The product line uses only organic, non-GMO ingredients, and offers consumers the convenience of on-the-go, innovative packaging with no need to refrigerate, meaning it can be eaten anywhere, anytime.
Everything in the snack is visible, allowing consumers to roll the ingredients from their packets and stir fresh hummus in no time.
The hummustir line is available for purchase in 12 oz. portions in-store at Citarella and Crisp, online at Amazon.com, and will soon be available at national grocery stores.
