As the call for organic foods and veggie-powered options becomes steadily louder, Campbell Soup Company’s C-Fresh division has announced a new product offering to answer the demand.
The company has unveiled souplicity™, a new line of High Pressure Processing (HPP), fresh-refrigerated soups.
“While more than half of consumers are looking for foods that are both organic and made with simple, recognizable ingredients, there has been minimal innovation in the fresh-refrigerated soup category to meet these demands,” said Todd Putman, General Manager of C-Fresh, said in a press release. “With souplicity, we’re bringing bold flavors and variety to consumers who crave a fresh culinary twist on a classic.”
Made using simple, organic, non-GMO, and preservative free ingredients, the latest offering is available in four chef-inspired flavors.
Implementing combinations of vegetables, fruits, and on-trend ingredients like curry, poblano chiles, and artisanal cheeses, the company stated that the line meets the consumer demand for a short list of ingredients without sacrificing high-quality taste.
All souplicity soups are available in BPA-free 17.6 oz containers for $5.99, and can be found in the refrigerated section of Earth Fare markets beginning this month, December 2016.
