Chef and Restauranteur David Burke Talks WBM Pink Himalayan Sea Salt

HOUSTON, TX
Wednesday, August 10th, 2016

Salt. Sometimes it’s so prevalent in our every day choices that we take it for granted. But one company, WBM International, is on a mission to make sure that line of thinking is a thing of the past. I spoke with Chef and Restauranteur, David Burke, about just a few of the many uses that the company’s Pink Himalayan Sea Salt can offer.

“Today we are doing some demonstrations on the benefits of using Pink Himalayan Sea Salt and seasoning,” Burke shared with me from the show floor of Houston’s IDDBA conference. “And the beauty of it in general. In using it as an architectural piece, a serving piece, a cooking piece, and for the preserving piece of salt.”

Chef Burke, of Iron Chef America fame, tells me that he uses Pink Himalayan Sea Salt in his own restaurants, and has seen the tool and seasoning increasingly become a trend in other high end restaurants as well.

What are some other uses for Pink Himalayan Sea Salt besides making your dishes pop with flavor? Watch my interview with Chef Burke above for all the details.
