Conroy Foods, creator of Beano’s brand deli condiments, is celebrating 30 years in our industry with new varieties of the convenient, gourmet products for which the company is known.
I recently had the opportunity to chat up Tom Orlando, National Sales Director for the company, at IDDBA 2017 and get the scoop on some of the products coming to market this year.
“Our very new[est] products are the Sandwich Shakers,” Tom tells me. “We have three flavors of Sandwich Shakers…[and there are] multiple uses for these new products. People use them on cheese, on oil, mixed in with their baked potatoes, as rubs, and marinades.”
The company’s Sandwich Shakers are available in new Red Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, and Rosemary & Thyme flavors—each available in Beano’s signature easy-to-use bottles with an innovative no-spill cap that makes spicing-up or saucing foods a breeze.
“It’s very unique,” Tom explains. “We get a lot of compliments on it. It’s a no-spill, flip-top cap. You shake out what you want and put it away.”
Another product the company has rolled out this year is a line of White Pizza Sauces designed to help consumers recreate the gourmet pizza experience in home.
“Every shell—every flatbread—calls for at least two ounces of oil,” Tom says. “So, we use our Garlic or our Basil or our Sun-Dried Tomato, and then there’s an Oregano. And they will complement any pizza that you want to make at home.”
