Following the successful rollout of its popular new poke bowls this Spring, Hissho Sushi has introduced four new on-trend rolls primed to drive sales in foodservice and deli departments.
The company highlighted a variety of new rolls at IDDBA17 in Anaheim, including:
Director of Training Edna Wang noted that the trade show was among the company’s best-ever showings at IDDBA, and the company’s new products—particularly the company’s new Classic Hawaiian, Mango Salmon, and Blazing Dragon poke bowls—were a hit with attendees.
Head Chef Nanda Maung likewise commented on the success of the show, noting the Hissho support team’s outstanding performance. Nanda noted that attendance seemed better, customers were more engaged, and added that the company encountered more new people at this year’s show—calling the show “Hissho’s best presentation ever.” Customers from the U.S., Mexico, and Venezuela noted that the presentation was exceptional and remarked that Hissho’s display seemed truly authentic as they sampled ample amounts of sushi.
Additionally, members of the Hissho team were out in force for the opening of the new Market of Choice in Portland, Oregon, where Hissho celebrated the establishment of its 1,000th location. Trade Marketing Manager Amanda Gaston and Sr. National Sales Manager / Sr. Operations Manager Joanna Lee were on hand, giving away samples, prizes, and gifts.
