Kelloggs Company Elects Richard W. Dreiling to Board of Directors

Announcing its newest addition to the company’s executive lineup, the Kellogg Company has named Richard W. Dreiling to its Board of Directors.

Kellogg stated in a press release that Dreiling brings more than 40 years of experience to the company board, with professional knowledge in the consumer discount, drug store, and grocery sectors. This experience includes 34 years at Safeway with roles in marketing, manufacturing, distribution, merchandising, and retail operations.

Previously, Dreiling served as CEO of Dollar General until he retired in June of last year. Dreiling also served as Chairman to the company following his retirement, from December 2008 to January 2016. At the same time, Dreiling was a Senior Advisor for Dollar General from June of 2015 until January 2016. 

Dreiling also currently serves on the Board of Directors for Lowe’s, Aramark, and PulteGroup, Inc.
