September is recognized as Organic Harvest Month. To celebrate, Litehouse, Inc. is launching a series of online initiatives and promotions designed to increase awareness for the organic sector.
"An increase in consumer demand and stronger organic category presence at retail has resulted in Litehouse Organic growth of 47 percent over the last year, and solidified our position as the leader in organic refrigerated salad dressing," said Alison Kellogg, Brand Manager for Litehouse Organic. "Consumers love our delicious flavor offerings–whether classic Ranch, sweet and tart raspberry lime, or the Asian-inspired combination of ginger with honey–and the fanfare has helped make us the favorite organic refrigerated salad dressing."
The company reported that organic RSD (refrigerated salad dressing) segment especially has seen rapid growth, with Litehouse Organic contributing 45 percent of the organic segment growth over the last 52 weeks, according to a press release.
