Litehouse Inspires Consumers to "Top It Off" During Fall Retail Promotion

Litehouse is at it again, with a new fall retail promotion that promises to spotlight the company’s easy-to-use 20 oz family size dressings. The company’s family size offerings will be featured in its new “Top it Off” promotion—a three-week promotion supporting retailers across the country by driving sales with discounted pricing on a top unit-driving product, cross promotion with complementary store departments, sampling, and more.

In a press release, the company noted that the end of the year is packed with family gatherings, occasions to entertain, and festivities that revolve around food. And the new campaign hopes to capitalize on these occasions—each offering the perfect opportunity to top dishes with popular flavors like Homestyle Ranch and Chunky Blue Cheese.

The new campaign will highlight Litehouse’s 20-oz family-size dressings and the ways these products meet consumer demand for packaging and usage versatility in the dressing flavors they love.

The company noted that, according to IRI data, Litehouse Homestyle Ranch 20 oz dressing is the leader in dollar sales velocity and sells more dollars per point of distribution than any other Refrigerated Salad Dressing (RSD), and according to the company, retailers that carry Litehouse 20 oz dressings see RSD category growth rates upward of four percent, compared to only one percent growth for retailers who don’t stock the 20 oz dressings.

With YTD gross sales for Litehouse 20 oz dressings up more than 30 percent, the company noted that the promotion is an ideal way for retailers to boost sales prior to the holiday season.

Running October 14 through November 3, Litehouse’s “Top it Off” promotion includes an in-store campaign with signage, sampling, point-of-sale materials, and discounted pricing on Litehouse 20 oz dressing at select retailers. Supporting consumer initiatives include broadcast, print and online editorial content, recipes, a consumer sweepstakes on the Litehouse website and an integrated social campaign during the promotion.

Litehouse Homestyle Ranch and Chunky Blue Cheese dressings are available in a variety of sizes and formats to meet customer and end-consumer needs: 20 oz family size squeeze, 13 oz glass jar, 15.5 oz dip tub, and more. Litehouse dressing does not contain artificial preservatives, colors or flavors, and is made without high fructose corn syrup or added MSG.
