Sabra Launches New Line of Sandwich Spreads

Sabra Dipping Company is taking hummus out of the tray and into a squeeze bottle with its new line, Sabra Spreads™. The new line of unique condiments will be available nationwide September 1st in three flavors: Garlic Herb, Honey Mustard, and Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper—all of which come in a convenient squeezable bottle.

As Sabra explains in its press release, approximately half of Americans eat a sandwich every day, and virtually all use a condiment or spread. This made the perfect window for Sabra to swoop in to, offering a new, hummus-based condiment that provides 75% less fat than the leading spread.

Sabra plans to support the launch digitally, as well as with an experiential sampling tour and with fun consumer and in-store promotions. You’ll be able to catch the spreads in an integrated campaign with Arnold®, Brownberry®, and Oroweat® Bread in the third annual "America's Better Sandwich™" contest, also partnering with food and nutrition influencers to develop and share more than 100 new sandwich recipe inspirations featuring Sabra Spreads.

All three products are kosher, gluten free, and non-GMO, the company says, and come with a suggested retail price is $3.99 per bottle.
