San Francisco to Premier First Ever Specialty Food Week

Are you ready for WFFS16?

Winter Fancy Food Show 2016 is fast-approaching, and this year the Specialty Food Association wants to ensure that not just the show, but the entire week has the industry geared up and ready for the West Coast’s biggest deli event.

“The first-ever San Francisco Specialty Food Week is your chance to celebrate the industry before, during and after the Show with exciting activities,” the association said in a press release.

Get ready for deli all day craze with the following calendar:

  • Sunday, January 17 | 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. | Moscone West: Party with a Purpose
  • Monday, January 18 | 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. | South Hall, Rooms 305 - 309: Leadership Awards and Hall of Fame Ceremony 2016
  • Saturday, January 16 | 8:00 a.m. - 5 p.m. | North Hall, Room 120: Advance booth selection process for the 2017 Winter Fancy Food Show
  • Saturday, January 16 | Noon - 1:00 p.m. | North Hall, Lower Lobby: Exhibitor Lunch
  • Saturday, January 16 | 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. | North Hall, Outside Upper Lobby: Exhibitor Party

The opening night’s “Party with a Purpose” on Sunday will allow show-goers to enjoy great food, drinks, and entertainment with fellow industry colleagues.

Meanwhile, the Leadership Awards and Hall of Fame Ceremony on Monday will feature keynote speaker Paul Saginaw, Founder of Zingerman’s Delicatessen. The ceremony will also celebrate the outstanding contributions of Association members in not only advancing food standards in society, but advancing society itself by creating social, economic, and environmental impact through innovation and vision, in three categories: Business Leadership, Citizenship, and Vision.
