Football season just got a little tastier as 505 Southwestern® announced it is an official sponsor of the Denver Broncos and the proud chip and dip partner of the beloved NFL football team.
“Coloradoans appreciate and prioritize high quality, local products, and that doesn’t stop when they go to a sporting event,” said Rob Holland, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of 505 Southwestern. “Whether at the game, tailgating, or watching the Broncos from home, 505SW™ products are a perfect addition to just about every football food from pizza to brats to nachos—making this an ideal partnership and one we are very proud of.”
The local Denver-based green chile brand also provides chips, salsa, and green chile to Empower Field at Mile High with its many products being served throughout the stadium. This sponsorship is in its fourth year and brings 505 Southwestern’s bold flavors to thirteen different locations on all three concourses and in the United Club and Bud Light Champions Club.
According to the release, the trend toward featuring local concessionaires is not new to Colorado—and the Denver Broncos recognize the value of a partnership with a premium, local craft brand chip and dip partner like 505 Southwestern. With a variety of 505 Southwestern products to choose from, fans will have a wide spread of game-time munchies at the numerous Monster Chicken Nachos carts throughout the stadium.
In addition, 505 Southwestern’s chips, salsas, quesos, and green chiles will also be featured in other parts of the stadium including the United Club and the Bud Light Champions Club where Bronco fans will get to build their own nachos. Bronco fans will see 505 Southwestern on the big screen during the Green Chile Challenge—the popular in-game feature that allows fans to follow a slice of pizza hidden in one of three moving 505 Southwestern Flame Roasted Green Chile jars. One lucky fan will get the chance to guess where the pizza is and, if they are correct, win 505 Southwestern products for their entire row.
“From our passionate customers here in Colorado to the guests that come from all over to see the Broncos play, people everywhere are falling in love with 505SW green chile as their favorite new condiment,” said Holland.
Made in New Mexico, 505 Southwestern sauces and salsas are all made with its famous flame-roasted green chile. The brand is one the fastest-growing in its category and is sold in all 50 U.S. states. In addition to the Denver Broncos, 505 Southwestern is a proud partner of the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Colorado Rockies, and Alterra Mountain Resorts to provide its unique green chile products to stadiums and venues across the country.
Now that’s a line I would happily stand in come half-time!
