When I was growing up, all I knew about cream cheese was that it came in a block—that’s pretty much it. But now that I’m an adult (and definitely not three kids standing on each others’ shoulders in a trench coat), I’ve learned of the vast range of flavors and applications available in the cream cheese category. Belle Chevre has recently enriched the category even further, adding two new flavors to its award-winning line-up of chevre cream cheeses. The two new flavors, Garden Veggie and Roasted Red Pepper, will round out the line to eight flavors in total, all of which are now available for shipment.
"Belle Chevre is known for innovation and surprising, unexpected flavors like coffee and fig, and even bourbon pecan, yet we value classics and tradition so much as well,” said Tasia Malakasis, CEO and Chief Cheese, in a press release. “We just couldn't resist the addition of two classic savory flavors, Garden Veggie and Roasted Red Pepper, and we know our customers won't be able to resist them either!"
The new Garden Veggie flavor is handcrafted with all-natural ingredients, as are all Belle Chevre Cream Cheeses, and this variety sports a look that is as visually appealing as it is tasty. A symphony of vegetables, including carrots, onions, and tomatoes, lends a pop of color and a true fresh garden taste.
The Roasted Red Pepper Cream Cheese is made with real red pimiento peppers, which are known to be the most subtle variety of peppers. The peppers lend a mild and slightly sweet flavor to the creamy tartness of the cream cheese, creating a luscious, lightly spicy spreadable product.
The full line of Belle Chevre’s all-natural cream cheese contains less fat, less cholesterol, and packs in 2.5 times more protein than regular cream cheese. In addition to the new Garden Veggie and Roasted Red Pepper flavors, the line also offers Pumpkin Spice, Cinnamon, Coffee, Fig, Honey, and Original varieties.
