2020 has taken the phrase “too many cooks in the kitchen” to a new level, as consumers report that they are feeling overwhelmed surrounding the increased time spent preparing meals in their home. Enter Cargill’s Castle Wood Reserve brand. The company recently conducted a survey to determine how it can best serve its shoppers, and ultimately crafted exclusive recipes aimed to support time-crunched parents in the kitchen.
“Based on the consumer research Cargill conducted in late September, we know meal and snack preparation has been more difficult for parents this year because they have to cook and plan meals more often,” said Hilary Gerard, Senior Marketing Manager. “Cargill chefs crafted the back-to-home recipes to provide these parents with quick and easy solutions that kids will find delicious and satiating. By creating these convenient recipes, Castle Wood Reserve is equipping consumers with time-saving meal options that will keep kids happy and parents will want to share with friends and family.”
To satisfy kids on each end of the K-12 spectrum, Cargill chefs have developed an array of quick and tasty recipes with time-saving tips, including roast beef cheeseburger sliders, Monte Cristo rollups, waffle toasted ham and cheese, pizza melts, and much more.
The Castle Wood Reserve line features Smoked Honey Turkey Breast, Uncured Honey Ham, Angus Seasoned Roast Beef, Virginia Brand Smoked Uncured Ham, Oven Roasted Turkey Breast, Oven Roasted Chicken Breast, Turkey Pastrami, and Four Pepper Turkey Breast. All of these offerings come directly from premium cuts of meat, ensuring a premium eating experience.
“The line also includes four varieties of premium snacking trios, featuring Black Forest Uncured Ham, Pepper-Rubbed Turkey Breast, Genoa Salami, and Oven Roasted Turkey Breast, as well as four varieties of premium entertaining trays with Quattro Salami Charcuterie and Salami Antipasto,” Hilary continued.
Castle Wood Reserve sliced deli meat offerings can be found at Walmart, Aldi, and select local retailers. Consumers can sign up for the Castle Wood Reserve coupon program on the brand website to access a $0.50 off coupon to be used toward the purchase of any of the line’s deli products.
