With the Summer Fancy Food Show (SFFS) fresh in our rearview mirror, we are still digging into the many category innovations and trends that graced the show floor. Carr Valley Cheese took to the event to spotlight its diverse lineup and old-world traditions, sparking inspiration for what can be achieved in the cheese case.

Additionally, we were excited to show off a few newly released items that we believe will be great holiday additions this year.”

As Elle shares with me, what truly sets Carr Valley apart in the cheese category is its ability to drive innovation while optimizing traditional techniques.

“We continue to innovate while sticking to our roots,” Elle continues. “We are still practicing old-world techniques and making cheese in the most desirable terroir of Wisconsin. Additionally, there are experts behind the cheese that can offer unique and individual support to our customers, which I believe is the most important part.”

A demonstration of its mastery and continued dedication to the craft and story at Carr Valley Cheese, the company has another talented and dedicated cheesemaker set to start the Master Cheesemaker program in the next year.

Lots of exciting things are in store for Carr Valley Cheese and its versatile portfolio, and those who stopped by booth #350 at the show gained a closer look at the brand’s unique retail and foodservice offerings.

“SFFS provides an environment for us to meet with most of our customer base, retail, and foodservice. Having this time is invaluable because it only takes one sample to make a difference to a potential customer,” Elle concludes.
