Some of my fondest memories from childhood involved popsicles. From quick breaks at the pool to lazy moments in the hammock, these sweet treats were a staple. For buyers looking to tap into both a nostalgic summer snack and a healthy alternative, look no further than Chloe’s. The company partnered with Marvel to bring the first kid-licensed pop to the freezer section of Whole Foods Market stores nationwide.
“I founded Chloe’s because I wanted a frozen treat that satisfied my family’s sweet tooth without the artificial ingredients,” commented Chloe Epstein, President and Co-Founder. “After developing a beloved and trusted line of fruit pops in the traditional size for adults, we wanted to focus on kids. Chloe’s mission is fueled by our commitment to making better-for-you treats more accessible to all, and kids are a huge part of the equation. We want to get kids excited about smart, high quality eating at a young age, and what better way to do it than through a smaller size pop, in their favorite fruit flavors with their favorite characters? We are thrilled that Whole Foods shares in our excitement to bring a kids-licensed, better-for-you treat into their freezer aisle nationwide.”
Through its partnership with Marvel, Chloe’s offers two tasty kids combos: Spider-Man in a Strawberry + Lemon Stacked Pop and The Avengers in a Cherry + Grape Pop variety pack.
The pops are made with clean ingredients and are dairy-free, plant-based, Non-GMO Project Verified, and gluten-free.
“As a registered dietitian and a mom, I know first-hand that it can be a challenge to find a frozen pop that is made with high-quality ingredients and that kids will actually eat,” explained Lauren Manaker, Registered Dietitian. “Chloe’s pops are a game-changer because they are free from artificial colors and flavors, high-fructose corn syrup and fillers, and they taste amazing. Including real fruit in every pop ensures that kids are being provided with the best of the best.”
Not only are these pops better for you, but the packaging highlights those beloved Marvel superheroes we’ve all come to know and love—a hit for kids and the kid at heart.
“In creating our pops, we were adamant that we would use only high-quality ingredients and omit anything artificial. Unlike other brands that resort to the least clean ingredients for their kids, we refuse to compromise for our kids line. With just fruit, water, and cane sugar, we distinguish ourselves in how we developed the simplest recipe for kids. We considered the kids’ pallets and preferences in flavor selection and the parents’ priorities with ingredients. It’s a delicious win, win for everyone,” concluded Chloe.
Deli Market News will continue to be on the lookout for the next big thing when it comes to snacking, so stay tuned.
