Dot Foods recently opened a new facility in the city of Manchester, Tennessee, expanding both its warehouse capacity and operational capabilities. This is the company’s 13th distribution center in the city.
"The expanded storage space, including advanced frozen warehouse facilities, will enhance our operational efficiency and ensure reliable, timely delivery of products," said George Eversman, President. "Our facility's design also allows for future expansion across all warehouse temperatures to accommodate continued growth."
According to a press release, the $62 million facility spans 177,000 square feet, and has expanded dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage capacities, along with office space and an on-site garage. It will serve Dot Foods’ distributor customers across Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Virginia, and North Carolina.
The new distribution center is also expected to create over 300 new jobs in warehousing and truck driving, adding to the 150 employees who have already been hired.
