The siren call of a charcuterie board is strong enough to reach vast distances, especially with today’s technology during these challenging times. In lieu of meeting in person, the Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival (NYCWFF) presented by Capital One is going digital, bringing forth a multitude of deli, specialty, and foodservice experts to celebrate food—and Fratelli Beretta is at the heart of the event as the Exclusive Charcuterie Sponsor. Fratelli began the festivities on October 1 and will be elbow deep with three different virtual activities surrounding the charcuterie board throughout the event until October 11.
“This is a special and different event since this is the first time you will not see thousands of attendees from New York City and around the world in one place enjoying all the amazing classes and food offered by the different partners,” Kimberley Parrales, Marketing Manager, tells me. “Despite the current climate, we appreciate the efforts NYCWFF is making to bring the industry back together and provide a fun and safe experience to all the fans, influencers, media, and partners—all while continuing the fight to end hunger by benefiting the No Kid Hungry and Food Bank For New York City.”
As part of the sponsorship, Fratelli will be hosting three virtual activities:
At each of the virtual classes, Fratelli will be showcasing its expansive line of products to create the perfect charcuterie board, Fratelli Beretta-style. To put the salami cherry on top of the cheeseboard, Fratelli is also participating in the auction by offering its La Dolce Vita Aperitivo Platter plus La Dolce Vita Roll & Go Platter, Prosciutto Di Carpegna pre-sliced, and Fratelli Beretta Antipasto as a prize as part of a new campaign La Dolce Vita.

“As an exclusive offering, Fratelli will be joining the auction as well in which winners will be able to be one of the first to try out our newest products from our La Dolce Vita line before it hits the market,” Kimberley continues. “We will also be giving away new items to some lucky winners during a couple of the classes, so stay tuned!”
The event runs from October 2 and will last until October 11.
A virtual wine tasting and charcuterie eating party—now that’s something I will always cheers to.
