Whether it is the start of the new year inspiring transformation or an unspoken understanding across companies that January is the time to introduce new leaders, we may never know. What we here at Deli Market News do know, however, is that Good Foods is the latest in a string of suppliers to announce a new executive in the form of Juan Larios, who has been appointed to Executive Vice President and President of Operations, Mexico.
Larios initially joined Good Foods in January 2017 as Director of Operations, noted a release. Taking over this role, he quickly worked to build a world-class facility in Mexico while also establishing and leading the team within the Good Foods operation. Now, he will join the executive ring as the new Executive Vice President and President of Operations in Mexico.
Backed by 20 years of experience in the food industry, Larios came to Good Foods having previously served as Plant Manager for Fry Foods as well as the Unit Director of Avocado/Guacamole for the J.R. Simplot Company in Mexico.
Kurt Penn gave his congratulations on the appointment.
“We are confident that Juan’s leadership and wealth of industry knowledge have helped us get to where we are today,” commented Penn, Founder and Chief Executive Officer for Good Foods. “With this promotion, we’re ensuring we have the right leadership on our team to continue growing and reach our company goals.”
Cheers to Juan Larios as he takes this new position and continues to help Good Foods grow its Mexico operations!
