IDDBA Facilitates Food Bank Donations

IDDBA is over and done with, but the industry is still spinning from all it tasted and saw. And since so many of our industry’s best and brightest brought so much to the table, IDDBA 19 was able to participate in another year of donating extra products to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.

“IDDBA is proud to have partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida in giving back to the community, and thanks to all the volunteers and exhibitors that made this donation possible,” IDDBA wrote in a press release.

Exhibiting companies shared a lot more than good times at this year's expo with a donation of 176,315 pounds of food

This year, hundreds of exhibitors showed off just why the deli, dairy, bakery, and specialty foods industry is so special. These same hundreds of exhibitors also generously donated 176,315 pounds of food to the Orlando, Florida-based food bank. This donation translates to 146,870 meals.

I think we can double that next year! Why, you ask? Because this industry is an awesome one, but only because of all of you!

See you all next year for another fantastic IDDBA!
