WILLMAR, MN
Wednesday, November 13th, 2019

We all need a little help every now and then. Especially with Thanksgiving just around the corner, tensions can run high. But consumers do not have to worry because Hormel Foods has got their back; Jennie-O Turkey Store is not only here for any and all turkey needs, but is now providing consumers with their own hotline for all holiday cooking questions.

Nicole Behne, Vice President of Marketing, Jennie-O“This is the 12th straight year that Jennie-O has a hotline for consumers to help ease the stress and anxiety often associated with holiday hosting,” said Nicole Behne, Vice President of Marketing at Jennie-O. “We’re excited to deliver next-level expertise this season through a panel of culinary experts who have achieved success in some of the most stressful restaurant kitchens in the world and who are routinely solving all types of cooking dilemmas.”

That’s right, 1-800-TURKEYS will be open to take consumers' calls again this year, but with a little bit of a revamp; well-known chefs, social media influencers and bloggers, and a certified master chef will now be in tow to answer the most-asked questions about preparing holiday feasts. According to a press release, hosts and dinner guests alike are invited to call the hotline for advice on a variety of topics like techniques for cooking a turkey, wine and drink pairings, leftover recipe inspiration, and—most importantly —what it takes to avoid the most common kitchen disasters that can wreak havoc on Thanksgiving Day.
