Karoun Dairies' Annie Keropian Discusses New Products Showcased at Winter Fancy Food Show

The 2024 Winter Fancy Food Show was an excellent opportunity to connect with brands we haven’t seen before while experiencing some of the newest products on the market. One company we connected with was Karoun Dairies, which reports that the show was wildly successful.

We were able to connect with our existing buyers, along with new buyers, and showcase all of our products to them in one place. The positive response and experience we had at the show demonstrated our continued commitment to producing nutritious and great-tasting dairy products that resonate with a diverse audience.”

At the show, the Karoun brand debuted a traditional Mediterranean style Labne in three flavors: Original, Tzatziki, and Chipotle. Its Parmalat brand also introduced three new Cremoso Yogurt flavors: Plain, Honey, and Honey Strawberry. Finally, the Gopi brand launched a Masala Paneer cheese, available in 8 oz and 14 oz sizes.

Karoun’s new varieties of Mediterranean Labne were the biggest hits. People were pleasantly surprised to see our flavored Labne and loved the Tzatziki and Chipotle flavors. Our existing buyers were able to try our new products and the response was very strong,” Annie explained. “Ghee was a hit as well! We received incredible feedback on our 32 oz Karoun Ghee—people were excited to see the large size. Our visitors also raved about Gopi Masala Paneer and how it combines the fresh taste of paneer and the earthy, aromatic flavors of masala. Overall, attendees expressed an interest in the robust flavors and heritage of our products, reinforcing the appeal our products have to a fast-growing multicultural population, as well as to mainstream consumers who are increasingly adopting ethnic cuisines.”

As we look toward the rest of 2024, I asked Annie if the company has any plans for future expansions.
