Maple Leaf Farms Launches New Sous Vide Duck Breast For Foodservice

Duck has seen its popularity rise, as more consumers want to see the protein as an option. For foodservice operators, they have a friend in Maple Leaf Farms, which recently launched its all-natural sous vide duck breast specifically for the sector.

Menu options include salads, sandwiches, pasta, or grain bowls. The product is also a healthy center-of-the-plate option that pairs well with a variety of sauces and sides.

“Each sous vide duck breast has 23 percent fewer calories and 42 percent less fat than a similar portion of beef filet, but still offers a great red meat flavor,” stated Tucker.

Each case of Maple Leaf Farms Sous Vide Duck Breast is packed with 16 individual vacuum-sealed duck breasts. The fully cooked product comes frozen for convenience and can be served hot or cold.
