Big news hit the meat sector today as Meat District has revealed an innovative new collaboration with a famed NBA star. The supplier announced it has officially brought its "SHAQ" 2 lb burger pack created in partnership with basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal to the shelves of Stater Bros., Hy-Vee, Food Lion, Publix, Southeastern Grocers, and Ralphs.
"We worked closely with Shaquille to create a product that would wow fans, and we are both really proud of the 'Shaq' burger!" said Chief Operating Officer Zack Levenson. "We developed a perfect blend of Angus Beef Brisket, Short Rib, and Chuck in 8 oz patties for a larger-than-life, slam dunk burger."
This collaboration is the purveyor's latest addition to its robust lineup of butcher-crafted, premium, ready-to-cook burgers, according to a press release.
The top-notch burgers are made with the highest quality cuts of Angus Brisket, Short Rib, Tri-Tip, and Chuck, and come in 10 flavorsome varieties, including the O.G., Steak House, Pitmaster, and Tailgater.
