As we have been reporting on our sister site AndNowUKnow, the International Fresh Produce Association's highly anticipated inaugural Global Produce & Floral Show is getting ready to kick off on October 27–29 in Orlando, Florida, and Nasoya is ready to hit the show floor running. The plant-based brand has revealed that it will spotlight its successful Plantspired lineup of ready-to-eat meal solutions and will be offering a first taste of its upcoming innovations.
"Nasoya is committed to meeting consumers where they are on their plant-based journey, offering convenient and delicious Asian-inspired options that appeal to Americans' evolving preferences," said Ellen Kim, Director of Brand Strategy and Marketing Communications at Pulmuone, the parent company of Nasoya. "Our Plantspired products are better-for-you, plant-based solutions created with accessibility and sustainability in mind."
Attendees will be able to sample Nasoya's popular Plantspired Steak marinated in Korean BBQ sauce along with a new variety of Plantspired Toss'ables featuring bite-sized, pre-baked tofu bites marinated in Korean Sweet Chili sauce. As stated in a release, Plantspired Toss'ables will be available to retailers nationwide in 2023.
Nasoya's Korean BBQ Plantspired Steak is gaining traction with increased retail distribution and foodservice partnerships since its debut in March 2022. Currently, the product has a retail distribution footprint of more than 4,000 grocers nationwide and sales have increased 800 percent since it hit grocery aisles.
"We've worked hard to perfect a plant-based steak product that is charcoal-grilled to perfection with Asian-inspired flavors, offering a premium experience in terms of taste and texture. We're thrilled that our consumers' reaction to our Plantspired Steak has matched our excitement," said Sung Yoon Nam, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Pulmuone. "We're looking forward to bringing consumers more authentic, sustainable, and nutritious plant-based protein options that are convenient and easy to incorporate into a variety of meals."
