Whole Foods is now one cookie company richer, as Onesto Foods recently unveiled its line of gluten-free, vegan, and non-GMO cookies will be rolling out at select locations of the organic grocer.
“I have been a huge fan of Whole Foods for as long as I can remember. Just walking in their doors has always made me feel healthier and inspired,” stated Jane Ciccone, Founder. “Now that I have my own food company, it is truly amazing that our products are on their shelves. It’s surreal.”
The cookies come in three flavors: Chocolate Chip, Cinnamon + Sugar, and Double Chocolate Chip. According to a press release, they are free of preservatives, chemicals, artificial ingredients, and hand-crafted in Vermont.
As of now, Onesto Foods’ cookies are available in the North Atlantic region, but there’s no telling where this cookie company is headed next. Deli Market News will continue to track the growth of all specialty foods up-and-comers, so stick around.
