One of America's most prominent olive brands is aiming to inspire people cooking at home. In honor of National Olive Day, Pearls® Olives launched its new #DreamOlive initiative, featuring chefs dreaming up recipes and ideas using olives.
“I love olives and use them in so many dishes to make a good thing even better,” said Chef Guy Turland, TV Host, Owner of California's Bondi Harvest, participating chef, and self-professed olive lover. “I’m excited to be part of the #DreamOlive initiative because it combines my passion for inspiring people in the kitchen while benefiting a good cause.”
According to the press release, the #DreamOlive initiative encourages olive fans, home cooks, and those who want to support a good cause to share their olive recipes and ideas by posting a photo, video, or comment using #DreamOlive across social media platforms. For every idea shared, Pearls will donate a meal to Feeding America.
As consumers storm the shelves for inspiration, great cross-promotional opportunities abound for the perfect pairing of savory cuts of meat or that creamy slice of cheese. A new charcuterie idea could even pop up as an easy way to nab shopper’s attention.
