It’s about to get primal up in here as we get into one of the biggest snacking weekends of the year, and that means it’s time to break out the Primal Kitchen sauces, condiments, and dips for some delicious eating. The company is ensuring shoppers are at peak performance come game day preparations, and what better to add to the roster than Hawaiian BBQ Sauce? When it’s paired with Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, of course.
“Football-watching parties are all about one thing when it comes to the food: flavor. Most of the time it is centered around indulgent foods you wouldn’t eat every day, but we wanted to help everyone ‘level up their game day snack’ by delivering bold flavors and premium, purposeful ingredients that they can feel good about,” Ana Goettsch, Head of Marketing at Primal Kitchen, shares with me. “We’ve partnered with Brooklyn, New York-based Mighty Quinn’s BBQ to offer consumers a limited-edition rack of ribs to help bring big flavor to any football-watching parties while celebrating their shared philosophy of using high-quality ingredients to make a delicious meal.”
The Hawaiian BBQ Sauce was created for people that crave the flavor of BBQ sauce but are looking for something lower in sugar and made with real ingredients. This Primal Kitchen offering is sweetened with a touch of organic pineapple juice concentrate, organic date paste, and organic coconut aminos to accentuate any dish, especially some juicy ribs.
“Mighty Quinn’s and Primal Kitchen share a love for delicious flavors and high-quality ingredients. It’s a local favorite spot for ribs, wings, and other BBQ items in New York City and beyond, as well as a top seller on Goldbelly, which we’ve also partnered with to bring this amazing flavor to our consumers nationwide,” continues Ana. “This partnership puts our brand front and center in front of BBQ-loving consumers who will appreciate the delicious flavor of our Hawaiian Style BBQ Sauce.”
The limited-edition Primal Kitchen x Mighty Quinn’s Hawaiian Ribs are now available nationwide on Goldbelly’s site through February 2 and were available at select Mighty Quinn’s locations until January 29. Each Goldbelly order includes two racks of ribs and a bottle of mayo—to recreate coleslaw at home—for $99.95. In stores, they’re available as a half rack for $21 and a full rack for $38.
Already available in Whole Foods Market, Sprouts Farmers Market, Meijer, and more, Primal Kitchen will land the Hawaiian BBQ organic sauce on Walmart shelves in March. Not only that, but more developments are in the works.
“In addition to this partnership, 2023 is an exciting year of innovation in our Primal Kitchen product lines. We will be introducing a vibrant, subtly sweet Organic Ketchup Sweetened with Honey and extending our organic grilling sauce line to include two soy-free fan favorites with our rich, umami Thick & Sticky Honey Teriyaki and a Korean BBQ Sauce that brings restaurant-quality flavor to the table,” Ana divulges. “Adding to our best-selling avocado-oil-based mayonnaise lineup, we are also launching a creamy, tangy, and delicious Whip Dressing & Spread made with avocado oil. It’s going to be a delicious year!”
I sure can’t wait to sink my teeth into these flavors, and I’m sure your shoppers can’t either. Be sure to keep a tab open as DMN brings new partnerships and releases to the table.
