Sprouts Farmers Market is looking to build upon its leadership prowess with the addition of Hari Avula. Avula will be joining the natural retailer as the newest member of its Board of Directors.

With nearly three decades of experience in his back pocket, Avula will be lending his over two decades of expertise to the retail chain. Avula will be drawing on nearly 27 years of industry and financial expertise in his role. According to the release, he currently serves as the Chief Financial and Strategic Officer of Clif Bar & Company, a position he has held since May 2021. There, he leads the financial management and enterprise strategy functions for the nutritious and organic food company.
Prior to Clif Bar, Avula served as Chief Financial Officer of Global Business Transformation and Digital/IT from 2020 to 2021 for Walgreens Boots Alliance and as the Chief Financial Officer of Retail Pharmacy U.S.A. from 2017 to 2020.
Before his time at Walgreens, Avula spent over 22 years at PepsiCo in a variety of financial and strategic roles, culminating as the Chief Financial Officer for Frito-Lay North America from 2015 to 2017.
