Three East Coast states will be welcoming a new Trader Joe’s to their territory. The grocer has announced plans to land new locations in New Jersey, New York, and Florida.
Trader Joe’s is continuing to build out its presence on both the East and West Coasts, with its latest New Jersey location. The grocer will be taking over a 14,068-square-foot space in Middletown Plaza that Walgreens previously owned. As NJ.com reported, this will make Trader Joe’s the first supermarket in Middletown Plaza since ShopRite moved across the highway in 2021.
Over in New York, the retailer noted on its site that it now has plans for a store at 69-65 Yellowstone Blvd in Queens. Trader Joe’s also noted a new Florida location at 8111 Cooper Creek Blvd in Bradenton.
Trader Joe’s offers a variety of dairy, seafood, frozen foods, snacks, and more. There are currently 18 Trader Joe’s locations in New Jersey and more than 500 locations nationwide.
Deli Market News will keep our maps open for more updates in the retail space.
