Cheese is the star of all of my favorite holiday snacks. Whether it be for a beautifully crafted charcuterie board or a mouthwatering pot of fondue, the cheese case remains a premium destination during the winter season. Bringing an enticing new offering to cheese-loving shoppers, Trugman-Nash recently revealed the newest addition to the Old Croc portfolio of delicious, high-quality cheeses. Imported from Australia, the new Old Croc Medium White Cheddar is non-GMO and crafted with pure milk from grass-fed Australian cows.
“We’re very excited to bring this new addition to the Old Croc family of cheddars. After more than a year in development, our new Medium cheddar delivers a true, rich, cheddar flavor with a smooth and creamy texture that makes it perfect for slicing and melting; and of course wonderful for snacking, ” explained Ken Meyers, President and Chief Executive Officer of Trugman-Nash.
The new Medium Cheddar is a part of Old Croc’s line of “The Classics” which includes classic white cheddar cheeses aged to perfection to offer a bold cheddar flavor. Each product in the beloved line is crafted using milk from grass-fed Australian cows to produce a cheese richer in omega-3 fats and vitamin E than other non-GMO, non-grass-fed cheese brands, according to a press release.
Perfect for snacking, Old Croc’s new Medium Cheddar offers a unique flavor profile that pairs well with crisp Pinot Gris and pale ales as well as fresh apples, pear wedges, grapes, and light water crackers. Further optimizing the snacking sector, the brand’s bold cheddar flavor is also featured in its Croc Bites Cheddar Cheese Snacks and its line of flavored and spreadable cheeses, including Bacon & Jalapeño and Roasted Garlic & Herb, which are both made with the company’s famous aged cheddar.
With festive charcuterie boards being prepped as we speak, there’s no better time to tap into the demand for high-quality, specialty cheeses.
As always, Deli Market News will continue to bring you the latest news in the dairy sector, so keep an eye out for our next update.
