Vermont Creamery secured three wins at this year’s sofi Awards from the Specialty Food Association, receiving well-deserved praise for its Sea Salt Cultured Butter and Coupole aged cheese—both of which won gold—and its Bijou goat cheese, which earned bronze.
“It is always a tremendous honor to be recognized among our industry peers by the Specialty Food Association,” said Adeline Druart, President. "A gold statue for our cultured butter is a tribute to the tireless efforts of our dedicated makers who consciously craft our delicious dairy every day here in Vermont.”
In a video cast on May 1, the sofi Award winners were announced, and while Vermont Creamery was overjoyed at its success, this is not the first time the company has reached these heights. This award marks the third sofi for both the Sea Salt Cultured Butter and Bijou, and the first for Coupole. As a mark of its excellence, Vermont Creamery has won a whopping 14 sofi Awards in the past five years. The company beat out a lot of competition, as the winners are selected through a blind tasting process from a pool of 1,800 from around the U.S., judged by a panel of industry experts.
Congratulations to Vermont Creamery for another impressive honors!
