Oh, how I wish I could have been in Houston, Texas, this past weekend. Not only because of the Houston Open 2022, but because Veroni was a sponsor of the PGA TOUR event. From November 10–13, the meat brand took to Memorial Park Golf Course, serving as the official Italian charcuterie sponsor and offering premium food experiences to attendees.
“We are honored to be the charcuterie sponsor of the Houston Open 2022, which comes after successful sponsorships of tennis tournaments and culinary events,” said Marco Veroni, President of Veroni USA. “These sponsorship activities represent great opportunities to let American consumers have a bite of Italian tradition and appreciate the passion for good food passed down in our family. The tasting experience is the only way to comprehend the concept of imported charcuterie.”
Spectators of the recent event were given a chance to enjoy charcuterie boards crafted using Veroni’s high-quality meats while relaxing in the exclusive Lexus Club 18 lounge area with a clear view of the finishing hole of the tournament, a release explained. Others were invited to enjoy the authentic Italian deli meats under the shade of Veroni-branded umbrellas.
This is not the first event sponsorship for Veroni this year, though. Earlier in 2022, the brand took part in New York’s most renowned culinary festival and a variety of tennis tournaments like the Miami Open, Washington City Open, and Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati, Ohio.
