Demand for quality snacks has seen tremendous growth in recent years. With the continuous innovation our industry exhibits, companies are seeking more bright-minded leaders to lead the charge. Whisps Snacks is ensuring it is staying ahead of the curve with the addition of Stephanie Bax Borselli as Chief Customer Officer. Excited to learn more about this budding Chief, I tapped Stephanie to see what awaits Whisps as she settles into her new role.
“I was really attracted to the overall energy and cohesiveness of the Whisps team,” Stephanie tells me. “Whisps has a lot to offer today’s consumer as a healthy on-the-go snack with a clean ingredient line. The brand has an accelerated growth trajectory in 2021 as entertaining and active living habits return.”
As the new Chief Customer Officer, Stephanie will be utilizing her passion for growing nutritious and delicious food brands by building deep customer relationships.
In her role, Stephanie will be responsible for the strategy and support of all 65,000+ current Whisps retail customers and identifying new, unique customers across club, drug, grocery, mass, and specialty sectors. To do this, Stephanie expects to grow the Whisps team this year.
“We will be expanding our sales team in 2021 to allow us to maintain focus on the needs of our existing retail partners while simultaneously expediting growth in new channels,” she explains. “At Whisps, our top two values are quality and fun. That makes for a great environment to work in!”
Before joining Whisps, Stephanie served as the Head of Sales at Quest Nutrition, where she built the sales team that scaled the brand, leading to an acquisition by Simply Good Foods in 2019. Prior to Quest, she spent 20 years with Kraft Foods, representing iconic brands including Kraft, Nabisco, Oscar Mayer, Maxwell House, Kool-Aid, and Capri Sun.
