Act fast, industry friends! As the 2025 United States Championship Cheese Contest nears on March 4–5 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) is offering attendees a deal. The host of the premium cheese competition has announced a special entry discount on all submissions of cheese, butter, yogurt, sour cream, and dry dairy ingredients, now through December 13.
“The technicality, scale, and prestige of the U.S. Championship Cheese Contest are unmatched. We’re excited to offer this unique opportunity for dairy businesses to showcase their craftsmanship, improve their products, and earn recognition for their hard work,” said WCMA Contest Director Kirsten Strohmenger.
Dairy manufacturers and processors can enter their products here for evaluation in the 2025 United States Championship Cheese Contest. While the contest entry window will remain open through January 31, 2025, all entries submitted before December 13 will cost just $80 per entry. After December 13, entries will cost $95 each.
According to a press release, new this year are entry classes for sour cream, low fat sour cream, and cultured dairy dips, reflecting industry feedback and growth in these sectors.
All entries will be evaluated at the competition at Green Bay’s Resch Expo in March. Entries across a total of 117 distinct categories will be judged on characteristics such as flavor, body, texture, salt, color, finish, and packaging.
