I scream, you scream, we all scream when we hear some Alden’s Organic news. The creamy treat brand recently announced it has partnered with Healthy Goodness, a frozen food fulfillment service specializing in natural foods, to facilitate Alden's move into the e-commerce space with online orders and shipping.
Earlier this year, Alden’s had been working with Healthy Goodness to make the newly launched Dairy Free line available for purchase online—to which I actually screamed. When the pandemic hit, instead of pausing, Alden’s knew it needed to go all in and add all 46 SKUs to its e-commerce platform.
“Even during these challenging times, we knew we needed to push ourselves to make this happen if we could,” said President and CEO Eric Eddings. “E-comm frozen sales are up over 31 percent since the COVID-19 crisis, and we think this is a trend that will continue even after we recover from it."
According to a press release, Alden’s Organic ice cream, novelties, and new dairy-free frozen desserts are now available for purchase on the brand’s website, delivering to consumers doorsteps nationwide.
Alden’s Organic expects e-commerce to supplement its national grocery distribution, which remains and will continue to be the mainstay of the business.
