With a new year comes new opportunities to promote the growth of the specialty space, and Alexian Pate is wielding a powerful portfolio to help retailers tap into the demands of 2025. With flavor and quality at the forefront, the brand’s pate lineup opens the door to a host of category advantages.

Alexandra Groezinger, President, Alexian Pate“In winter when temperatures are cooler, we tend to want to sit by the fire or under a blanket and enjoy food and drinks that make us feel warmth. Heartier foods tend to do the trick, so we'd recommend our pates with heavier flavor profiles like our Duck Rillette, Pheasant & Rosemary Pate, or our Wild Forest Mushroom Pate,” Alexandra Groezinger, President, shared with me. “These pair wonderfully with the deeper flavors of red wines that we often opt for during the wintertime. In January, however, when consumers are adopting new health and fitness goals, any of our vegetable pates are a great fit, as they are lighter and lower in calories, fitting in well for those on the ‘New Year, New Me’ wagon!”

Elevating this impressive lineup, the Alexian Pate brand is set apart by its distinctive, attractive packaging.

“We launched new packaging in the spring of 2024 to better align ourselves with the current pate consumer,” Alexandra explains. “It gives a much fresher and cleaner look and features pops of color and attractive graphics that help it stand out on the shelf. Our pate line is fully All Natural—nothing artificial, no preservatives, no additives, no colors, no flavor enhancers. Everything on our ingredients label is something you'd find in your refrigerator or pantry.”

To maximize specialty sales, these products can be conveniently cross-merchandised alongside anything that goes on a charcuterie board, from cheeses and other meats to different accompaniments like olives, pickled vegetables, nuts, fresh fruit, jams, breads, and specialty crackers.
