Chocolate-loving shoppers are soon going to be flocking to retailers for an exciting new treat, as Alter Eco® has expanded its Blackout collection with the addition of two new, high-quality dark chocolate bars: Total Blackout and Raspberry Blackout.
“Our Blackout collection is certainly one of our most beloved, so we are really excited about the addition of these two bars that keep quality and health top of mind,” said CEO Mike Forbes. “We know that many are more conscious of what ingredients go into their products, and these bars are a testament to the sustainably-sourced ingredients that we believe should be available to everyone.”
The new bars are created with Heirloom Arriba Nacional Cacao straight from Ecuador and the Dominican Republic, according to a company release, and feature high cacao percentages and few ingredients. The new Total Blackout bar is simply crafted of 100 percent cacao, organic cocoa beans, and organic butter, while the Raspberry Blackout contains 85 percent cacao and only four grams of sugar despite its sweet and enticing raspberry flavor, which is unique to Alter Eco’s Blackout collection.

These new additions, similar to all of Alter Eco’s creations, are made using organic, Fair Trade ingredients, and are free of GMOs, refined sugars, emulsifiers, or added preservatives. This includes using cacao grown using dynamic, climate-positive, agroforestry methods to create these delicious products. The Total Blackout and Raspberry Blackout bars are both Fair Trade Certified, Certified Gluten-Free, Carbon Neutral Certified, and USDA Certified Organic. With healthy ingredients and sustainable production, these new chocolate bars are a go-to, guilt-free treat for any chocolate lover.
Alter Eco’s new additions can now be found online, with an SRP of $3.99 per bar.
