Although we are already in February, consumers still remain strong in their New Year’s resolutions regarding healthy eating. Giving them some motivation, AYO Almondmilk Yogurt has whipped up some tasty treats that not only get mouths watering, but are also health-forward with organic ingredients, plant-based proteins, and probiotics to boot.
“We are the first fully vertically integrated yogurt brand, and control every step of the process, from growing the organic almonds to blanching them in boiling water to remove the outer skin. They are then roasted and ground into almond butter, which is the pure nut butter almond base used to make AYO,” commented Matt Billings, Founder. “We are not trying to be an alternative to any other product. Our goal was to make a great tasting yogurt from our organic almonds, and we did just that, and each cup of AYO contains 20 organic almonds per cup!"
Every cup of AYO yogurt is made with sustainably harvested organic almonds that are grown on the Billings’ family farm in the San Joaquin Valley of California. As described in a release, the almonds are then harvested, churned, and cultured with love, creating delicious flavor and an all-natural, 100 percent dairy and soy-free yogurt collection.
Highlighting the tasty flavors of AYO, the company has launched a series of “kid-tested, mom-approved” recipes that have less sugar than traditional sweets. I mean, just hearing AYO Froyo Bark gets my taste buds tingling—not to mention the opportunities for cross merchandising that await retailers.
