Although consumers are unable to go out to eat, companies are offering creative solutions that bring brunch to the home. Bruegger's Bagels recently announced that its take-home bagel kits will be available throughout the month of May. The campaign, which began as a Mother's Day celebration, has now turned into a "Momumental May."
"This has been such an unusual time, and we know moms are working extra hard, so we think they definitely deserve more than just one day of recognition this year," said Teka O'Rourke, Vice President of Marketing. "We're even offering 20 percent off gift cards through May 31 to help fuel Mom with bagels and coffee as she gets through her day."
Consumers can order a variety of options, including the Hot & Ready Brunch Box, which includes six bagels, one tub of 100 percent made-in-Vermont cream cheese, three egg sandwiches (one Farmhouse and two Bacon and Cheddar), four blueberry muffins, and four twice-baked hash browns.
