Pop-up events bring surprise and delight to all who come across them, and Schuman Cheese’s Cello brand has tapped into that joyful experience. With football season back in action, the supplier is putting on a Cheesing with Cello Tailgate Pop-Up later today, 4–7 p.m. EST, at a ShopRite store in Lincoln Park, New Jersey. The brand will hand out free, chef-curated bites featuring Cello’s award-winning cheeses.
“At the heart of everything we do at Cello is the goal of helping consumers Cheese Confidently,” Quentin Wright-McDuffie, Brand Manager at Schuman Cheese, told DMN. “Part of that means meeting consumers exactly where they are, whether it’s at home cooking along with us via IG Live, or at the grocery store picking up their game day eats. At Schuman Cheese, we are dedicated to creating the highest quality products that honor our ‘True Cheese’ promise, and Cello’s tailgate pop-up is bringing our standout cheeses to the forefront. We want to engage with Cello fans and cheese lovers to give them real time examples of how to use and enjoy our award-winning products throughout this football season and beyond!”
Crafted and served by three-time Food Network Chopped Champion, Chef Andre Fowles, dishes will include Brisket Grilled Cheese, Mac ‘n Cheese Bites with truffle dipping sauce, and Mini Mascarpone Cheesecakes, according to an announcement from the company.
“Our Cheesing with Cello events have been a great way for us to connect with our consumers, and for them to connect with us. Each quarter, we find new opportunities to show them how to Cheese Confidently and seamlessly enjoy Cello during all of life’s occasions, whether through a recipe demo, cheese and wine pairing class, charcuterie workshop, or celebration,” Quentin continued. “Through these events, we’re able to address questions in real time, educate cheese lovers on our best-in-class cheesemaking processes, and solidify that we’re here for them as a resource. By doing this both in-person and virtually throughout the year, we are able to spread Cello’s awareness on a mass scale to consumers all across the country.”
So, how long is the flight from California to New Jersey? Because this trade news writer is packing her suitcase and heading to ShopRite.
