C.H. Guenther & Son has made a name for itself in the industry for offering top-of-the-line grain-based products. Now, the company is doubling down on positioning itself as a one-stop solution for retailers looking to optimize product assortments for in-store bakery needs. With versatile new products and simple cross-merchandising messaging, C.H. Guenther & Son is a formidable supplier partner.
I sat down with Erica Elliot, Senior Marketing Manager, to learn more.
“First off, I want to say that grocery retailers and restaurant operators can be assured that C.H. Guenther & Son has adjusted its production strategy to ensure that production is being maintained to continue building supply and meeting consumer demand,” Erica remarked, noting the effect of COVID-19 on retailers and suppliers alike. “We are supporting retailers with e-commerce photography and additional content to ensure that their customers have the best digital experience to help facilitate sales. Additionally, we use social media as a way to enhance customer engagement and build brand loyalty that drives customers back for repeat purchases.”
Across its brands, including Tribeca Oven, CookieTree, and Gizella Pastry, C.H. Guenther & Son offers in-store bakery solutions across categories such as par-baked artisan bread, gourmet cookie dough, and thaw & serve desserts.
Tribeca Oven has also recently introduced new product ideations set to launch at the end of the summer, which include the Apple Cider Loaf, Sweet Corn & Black Pepper Loaf, and a Superseed Hemp Loaf. All of these products have been launched in an effort to spark renewed interest in in-store bakery assortments, while also adding variety.
“We want to wow consumers with top flavors, but we also want to ensure that their concerns are considered top-of-mind. For example, our Tribeca Oven branded retail program offers additional safety precautions to ease consumer anxieties over packaged products,” Erica added. “The product comes packed with branded retail bags as an immediate solution for retailers looking to expand their packaged offerings for consumer safety. With its clear front panel, this packaging affords consumers a clear view of the product—which allows them to inspect the product and makes them more likely to buy. As an added benefit, retailers are able to capitalize on Tribeca Oven’s brand loyalty by utilizing the branded retail program.”
Retailers will find even more solutions in Tribeca Oven’s packaging options, which further allows them to focus on building out programs across store departments. Its Sandwich Carriers, for instance, can be repurposed across store categories in the deli and bakery departments. One of its products, the Demi Baguette, can be sold as is within an in-store bakery, or used in a made-to-order deli sandwich.
On top of that, C.H. Guenther & Son’s CookieTree and Gizella Pastry product lines promote grab-and-go opportunities while similarly addressing consumer packaging concerns that are so prevalent in today’s market. Individually wrapped cookies and grab-and-go cheesecakes, made by CookieTree and Gizella Pastry respectively, could easily pair with consumers already searching for deli and bakery items.
Retailers, I think it’s safe to say that you need look no further when searching for a one-stop shop solution in your bakery departments.
