With an already impressive foodservice footprint, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is tackling growth in the retail sector, expanding its presence to Albertsons stores across North Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Albertsons to bring our handcrafted Kielbasa-style pit smoked sausages and hot links to the great folks of Arkansas, Louisiana, and North Texas,” said Laura Rea Dickey, Chief Executive Officer of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. “We look forward to offering Original and Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage Links as well as spicy Hot Links to backyard Pit Masters for many years to come.”
Beginning in April, Albertsons shoppers will have access to the Texas-style barbecue brand’s famous Original Kielbasa Sausage Links, Jalapeño Cheddar Kielbasa Sausage Links, and Hot Links. As a press release noted, the pit-smoked proteins will now be sold in 208 Albertsons stores throughout the chain’s Southern division.
For the past 80 years, the Dallas-based, family-run barbecue franchise has served millions of guests in 44 states, operating 550 locations across the United States and eight other countries.
