Remember the excitement and anticipation that would build in your head as a child whenever your birthday rolled around or Santa was expected down the chimney? Well, that is how the writing team here at Deli Market News feels about the impending arrival of the Winter Fancy Food Show (WFFS), and news of Firehook’s showcase only served to heighten the sensation.
“Long-time Firehook fans will be excited to rediscover our Cinnamon and Spicy Sesame favors, which will be returning to the flavor lineup in 2024 as limited-edition seasonal flavors. For those who have just joined the fan club, we are looking forward to introducing them to some of Firehook’s original flavors,” dishes Kari Ball, Marketing Manager. “Our Cinnamon cracker is a not-too-sweet treat featuring a toasty cinnamon-sugar crunch, and the Spicy Sesame marries a punchy kick of heat with the nutty warmth of sesame. We are excited to expand the line of organic crackers and reintroduce nostalgic flavors to the Firehook palate.”
In addition to unleashing some classic flavors from the recipe vault, Firehook will highlight its full line of Organic Mediterranean Baked Crackers and Twice-Baked Biscotti. To top it off, the company will feature its Crispy Graham Crackers, which launched last year and are becoming popular for snacking, s’mores making, and, most importantly, cheese pairings.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. Firehook is celebrating innovation in 2024 with a few additional surprises that will be unveiled at the show.
“As we are always testing our creativity and baking up fresh ideas, we love that the Fancy Food Show provides the opportunity to receive real-time feedback and spark discussion over tastings,” explains Kari. “This year, we have plans to expand all three lines of savory baked crackers, crispy grahams, and biscotti and will have some sneak previews of some things we are working on in Firehook’s innovative bake-shop.”
Firehook is extending the excitement around its products beyond its booth alone, partnering with Vermont Creamery, Belle Chèvre, and Janet’s Finest Compotes to share delicious bites with attendees.
“One of our favorite parts of WFFS is getting together and seeing all our friends in the industry. We are lucky to have amazing relationships with many great people who make the most gorgeous products. Whenever there is an opportunity to share in a delicious collaboration, we are in!” Kari adds. “So be sure to stop by the Vermont Creamery booth for their take on a savory-sweet s’more and the Belle Chèvre and Janet’s Finest booths for a pairing trifecta featuring fresh chèvre and a signature sweet jalapeño kick.”
Rounding out its WFFS experience, Firehook will be participating in some of the Specialty Foods Association’s pop-up sessions that will be taking place in the Confectionary, Snack, and Bakery Pavilion as well as on the Taste It Live Stage. These sessions incorporate an interactive component where attendees can taste products, enjoy live demos, and compete in a Charcuterie Chalet Showdown.
