What a time the Winter Fancy Food Show (WFFS) was! Last week in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Specialty Food Association (SFA) saw many brands in one large convention center—including FrieslandCampina. The cheesemaker displayed its rich portfolio of international cheese brands at this year’s show, highlighting its expanded product range.
“We’d like to extend our thanks and appreciation to everyone who took some time out of your busy Winter Fancy Food Show schedules to visit FrieslandCampina’s booth this year and learn more about our diverse portfolio of international cheese brands,” said Debbie Seife, Director of Marketing of FrieslandCampina. “We’re optimistic about the outcome of this winter’s show based on the enthusiasm we received from attendees on brands like Gayo Azul®, A Dutch Masterpiece®, and Royal Hollandia®, and hope to see the same excitement at the next show!”
At the show, FrieslandCampina displayed internationally acclaimed cheese brands and partner brands from the Netherlands, the U.K., Denmark, Australia, and Ireland, among others. Attendees went on an international tour of world cheeses from premium brands including Royal Hollandia, Gayo Azul, A Dutch Masterpiece, Parrano®, and Wyke Farms®.
From Royal Hollandia—the highest quality Dutch Cheese for over 120 years—attendees delighted in a diverse collection of the finest cheese products. Gayo Azul showcased its collection of premium Hispanic cheese with a Dutch influence.
According to the release, the classic but unique A Dutch Masterpiece collection highlighted the award-winning lineup of four premium mature Goudas. Attendees were also able to enjoy delicious cheeses from Parrano, a versatile and delicious cheese that captures the alluring nutty flavor and buttery aroma of a fine-aged Parmesan, finishing with the smooth, creamy texture of a Dutch Gouda.
In addition, FrieslandCampina showcased delicious Cheddars from U.K.-Based Wyke Farms, which crafts its award-winning cheese by using 100 percent green energy in the heart of Somerset England. They are also producers of the world’s first carbon-neutral Cheddar Cheese, called Ivy’s Reserve Vintage Cheddar, which is aged for 18 months—also highlighted at the WFFS.
