If you are a fan of salsa or guacamole, you are probably already very familiar with the beloved HERDEZ® brand. In its most recent growth strategy, the company announced a new launch, adding two HERDEZ Mexican Refrigerated Entrées to its portfolio.
“The HERDEZ brand is best known for salsas, HERDEZ TAQUERIA STREET SAUCE®, refrigerated guacamole, and hot sauce,” said Giselle Olson, Brand Manager. “We love that we can offer our fans more of the bold flavors from Mexico they crave in these new, easy-to-prepare dishes.”
As the brand shared, HERDEZ’s newest portfolio additions were inspired by some of the most popular Mexican dishes. Packed with flavor and protein, each offering contains seven grams of protein per serving, according to a press release.
The newly introduced varieties include:

Inspired by the culinary traditions of Mexico, HERDEZ Chicken Shredded in Mild Chipotle Sauce and HERDEZ Carnitas Slow Cooked Pork make it easy to recreate your favorite Mexican dishes—everything from tacos and burritos, to enchiladas, nachos, and more—within minutes.”
Starting this month, HERDEZ’s new Refrigerated Entrées will be available in 15 oz packages at Publix and Hy-Vee stores across the United States, with plans for additional rollouts to major grocery chains later this spring.
