Bacon and cheddar are two highly coveted flavors when it comes to mouthwatering meat pairings, and Hofmann Sausage Company is satisfying consumer cravings with the production and distribution of Hofmann Natural Casing Bacon Cheddar Franks.
"Our German Franks and Cheddar Franks are very popular items, and bacon cheddar products are well-liked in general by consumers, so it made sense to extend the product line by adding the Bacon Cheddar Franks," said Ben Lipphardt, Senior Manager of Operations. "We hit a home run with this one."
The addition of this new offering builds on the success of Hofmann's No. 1 selling item, Natural Casing German Franks. According to a press release, the product is made with real Wisconsin cheddar cheese and bacon plus a natural, tender lamb casing. They are also gluten-free, fully cooked, and contain no added MSG.
Retailers in Central New York are among the first to offer this product, which comes in a 14 oz package with six franks per retail pack. Initial retailers include Nichol's, Spera's, Save A Lot, Big M, Shurfine, and many more.
