Lola’s Fine Hot Sauce Launches Product Line; Taufeek Shah Comments

At multiple recent industry trade shows, our team saw a bevy of different hot sauce companies showcasing their products. One up-and-coming brand is expanding its presence at retail as Lola’s Fine Hot Sauce is bringing its products to Midwestern Target and Walmart stores.

The company’s hot sauces come in eight bold flavors, seven of which are plant-based and vegan friendly—and all made with fresh ingredients. According to a press release, the flavors are based on an original recipe by Carmelita “Lola” Shah, Taufeek Shah’s mother.

Since 2021, Lola’s Fine Hot Sauce has doubled the number of retailers that carry its products and has seen more than 432 percent growth year over year since its founding in 2015. The Shah family’s Filipino-Pakistani roots and incredible American-made story make Lola’s products a strong fit for big retailer minority initiatives.

Lola’s Fine Hot Sauce is currently available at Lowe’s Home Improvement Stores, Hy-Vee, Meijer, Kroger, and directly from the company’s website.
