This should go without saying, but us plant-based consumers deserve to enjoy football eating occasions, too. Aside from the tried and true veggie platter, brands like MorningStar Farms® are bringing the plant-based heat with a whole host of meatless options. As the season gets underway, the brand teamed up with football fanatic and actor Tahj Mowry to launch a fan pack sweepstakes that included a Team Veggie jersey, plus a lineup of MorningStar Farms food.

"We want to celebrate the many ways fans are serving up their favorite game day dishes, and there's no better partner to help us rally the plant-based community than Tahj Mowry."
According to a press release, MorningStar Farms and Mowry asked fans to share the MorningStar Farms Veggie Plays (MVPs) tapped to feed guests at every football occasion. To kick things off, Mowry shared his own MVPs, including MorningStar Farms' newest offerings: Veggie Chorizo Nacho Bites and Veggie Chik'n and Cheeze Taquito Bites.
To win a fan pack, consumers needed to comment on Mowry's or MorningStar Farms' Instagram post with an MVP recipe. The sweepstakes ran from September 9–16.
