I have to say that intrigue made me think twice, while instinct signaled “no” with its hands flailing in the air. And what could cause such a dynamic reaction? French's® has revealed the availability of a limited-edition French's Mustard Ice Cream just in time for National Mustard Day this Saturday, August 3. Developed with Coolhaus Ice Cream, this collaboration marries two staples of all-American culinary pastimes—ice cream and mustard—in what I imagine must be a bucket list item for some—well, at least for me.
"As lovers of sweet-meets-savory, pure ingredients and unique creations, we are incredibly excited to be collaborating with French's Mustard in creating this one-of-a-kind product," said Coolhaus CEO and Founder Natasha Case. "It's been so fun to explore this classic condiment in a whole new way and create an unforgettable, thoughtfully-crafted ice cream flavor with an All-American taste."
Some may draw the line at combining mustard and ice cream, but my line is a little further down the food rabbit hole with mayonnaise on steamed white rice, peanut butter and dill pickle sandwiches (or on burgers), and chocolate donuts dipped in BBQ sauce.
