One of the first commercial gluten-free bakeries in Colorado is expanding its reach by going digital. Outside The Breadbox® is launching an online store where its trendy gluten-free lineup will be available for purchase and delivery directly to consumers’ doorsteps, adding more convenience to the bakery category.
"People with food allergies are even more challenged to find the grocery items they need right now," said Erik Van Horn, Owner of Outside The Breadbox. "To ensure our customers have access to allergen-free foods that are safe for them to eat, we launched e-commerce and increased our baking hours to make sure our partner stores can keep products on the shelves."
According to a press release, the Outside The Breadbox online store currently offers three varieties each of the company’s gluten-free bread, bagels, and cheddar crackers. Each item is available in six packs, with the bread and bagel goodies touting vegan, dairy-free, egg-free, and non-GMO options.
This online store is a major step in streamlining Outside The Breadbox’s format and, as such, the company is working to add more products to its online catalogue and expand free shipping zones as soon as possible.
Outside The Breadbox products are certified through the Gluten Free Certification Organization and baked in its family-owned gluten-free, nut-free, and soy-free facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
